Plot
The Color Purple is a drama from Steven Spielberg starring Whoopi Goldberg. The film is set in the southern United States and depicts the slow emancipation of a male dominated victimized African American woman. Great film, but not much lesbianism. The romantic scene between two women involves one reaching to touch the other, who is giggling. Then we see the wind blowing.
