| A spurned woman swallows some special pills that change her into a man. She tries to continue to be a woman, but ends up acting in a manly fashion. Some of the earliest Lesbian images are included in this film. The main character, and her maid, also dress in men's clothing.
The Boulder Gay and Lesbian Film Festival site, which indicates that this film was shown at their 1999 festival, says: Please note that while "A Florida Enchantment" offers some complexity about sex roles, it does not project much thoughtfulness about ethnicity.
