A woman loses her bisexual lover, and hires a man to break the woman's heart. It's a heterosexual love story. The film uses Lesbianism more as a plot device than anything else, and as long as you're prepared for that, the film isn't too bad. Still lots of old stereotypes -- not all Lesbians are either butch (suits and ties) or femme (lacy dresses)-- but the main female characters, Connie and Ellen, are well-written.
